Independence Day is upon us and we love to celebrate the holiday with delicious barbecues, outdoor fun, and spectacular fireworks! Wear your Red, White, and Blue, and make plans to enjoy 4th of July in Mt. Juliet!
4th of July tradition in Mt Juliet is to watch a spectacular firework display at Providence shopping area. This year is no different. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Needham of Needham’s Nursery will once again provide us with this great display presented by the City of Mt. Juliet. The Independence Day fireworks will begin at dark, around 9 pm behind Providence Market Place. This popular event is free and open to the public.
Join the celebration before at Providence Market Place from 4 pm to 9 pm for a FREE activities. Live concerts will be performed with Jeremy McComb opening for The Tim McDonald Band featuring Johnny Hiland. A 30 foot Video Game Trailer featuring great gaming systems along with five high definition LCD televisions will on site.
The kids won’t want to miss “The Kids’ Zone”! Two artist from Paintopia will be providing deluxe Face Painting. They will be using FDA approved, cosmetic grade face paints, glitters, embellishments, and temporary tattoo inks. Theses all can be easily removed with baby wipes and mild soap and water. Anthony The Balloon Kid will be providing great balloon art. There will be inflatables with slides, obstacle courses and a Micky Mouse Toddler play land.
Caricature Artist will be on hand to capture this wonderful moment for you. Each drawing is a $10 cash donation which will benefit our Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter. Make sure to stop by for your caricature drawing. The stores will be open with 4th of July specials, along with the restaurants and ice cream shops for all your snacking needs!
